(I might be guilty of all of these!)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0So, this is a timely reminder about the <strong>Rules of Ready Golf<\/strong> as set out on <strong>page 4 of our MGGC Fixtures Book:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Get to the tee 12 minutes before your tee time and be ready to go!<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cReady golf\u201d.<\/strong> Take turns teeing off first and record your score while someone else in the group is teeing off. <u>Ready golf continues for all fairway shots<\/u> \u2013 it\u2019s great to stroll and chat whilst walking to your balls, but only if you are heading in the same direction.\u00a0 Please move directly to your ball and be ready to swing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cPutt out\u201d<\/strong> on the greens! A huge time saver!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are trying to avoid using \u201cCourse Marshalls\u201d (as the men are doing), or the need to monitor individual groups MiScore game times.\u00a0 We are just asking every group to keep play moving along! We understand that lost balls, raking bunkers, filling divots and repairing pug marks on the green all take time, but playing \u201cready golf\u201d should ensure that you keep up with the group in front.\u00a0 And if you do lose ground, the first 2 players to putt out should promptly head to the next hole, tee off and then record their scores.<\/p>\n<p>18 holes in approximately 4 hours is what we are aiming for.<\/p>\n<p>Cheers everyone and happy golfing.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Lynda Wake<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ladies Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have received a few complaints about our pace of play.
