Please note that works on the green replacement project are now underway with hole 9 completely out of play and hole 12 to be played utilising a temporary green.<\/p>\n
It is anticipated that once these two greens have had their old turf stripped, a fresh soil profile added and the surface prepared for laying the new 007 bent grass contractors will move onto the 13th hole.<\/p>\n
The front 9 will be played using holes 1 to 7 with 8A and 8B completing the 9. At this stage the back 9 will be played as holes 10 to 18 with a shortened 12th hole.<\/p>\n
When works move to holes 10 and 13 they will also be played utilising a temporary hole which when not in use as a green must be treated as compulsory GUR so as not to cause damage to the surfaces while they are being prepared.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hole 11 will not have a temporary green in play during the works and when this is out of play the pitching green will be utilised.<\/p>\n
