Thanks to those of you who have offered your support and congratulations on my election to Vice Captain of MGGC.<\/p>\n<p>The golf calendar is well underway and has already seen us play two Putting and Consistency stroke rounds, the first Silver Spoon, Silver Anniversary Round 1 and the Jubilee Foursome qualifier. Next Tuesday is the start of the Women\u2019s Club Championships. It is certainly all happening!<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to our winners of these events:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Putting and Consistency Round 1 \u2013 Kerrin Thomas<\/li>\n<li>Silver Spoon Round 1 \u2013 Lynda Wake<\/li>\n<li>Silver Anniversary Round 1 \u2013 Lynne Sinclair<\/li>\n<li>Jubilee Foursomes \u2013 Pam McHugh and Lorraine Rochelle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Winter Eclectic is also underway with You Ran Han on top with a 64.35 Nett Score to date. The Eclectic competition keeps track of your best score on each hole across all competitions in the winter season. It is a little tricky to find on the Club website so here are some instructions. Log onto the Club website then navigate to &nbsp;Home -&gt; Leaderboards and scroll down to the bottom of the Leaderboards list and click on Eclectic. You will be taken to a list of Eclectic comps, select women\u2019s and away you go.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do Dragons, Flowers and Winds have in Common?<br><\/strong>They are all Mahjong tiles. <br>Dorothy Cropper will be holding an Introduction to Mahjong session in the clubrooms on Tuesday 9<sup>th<\/sup> April from 11 am. It\u2019s a great way to socialise with other members and expand your mind. All members are welcome to join in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Club Championships \u2013 9<sup>th<\/sup> to 18<sup>th<\/sup> April,2024<br><\/strong>Good luck to all of you playing in the Club Championships. The draw for Rounds 1 and 2 has been completed for each grade and will be available to view at the usual timesheet opening dates. Round 3 and 4 are seeded draws and will be entered and available after the previous round is completed.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t forget to see Jodee in the office for your championship dinner meal selection and payment.<\/p>\n<p>For those members who have been unable to enter the Club Championships, I have organised for 9 holes of social golf from 10:30am on the 9<sup>th<\/sup>, 11<sup>th<\/sup> and 18<sup>th<\/sup> April. The course is closed for Men\u2019s Senior Pennants on 16<sup>th<\/sup> April. Please contact myself or Anne Hitchen if you are interested in playing social golf on these days. Please be aware places are limited.<\/p>\n<p>If you have to withdraw from any rounds of the Club Championships or social play, please contact myself or Anne Hitchen.
