Megan Holmes Trophy Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

The annual Megan Holmes Trophy Day was held on Thursday 12th<\/sup> September in great course and weather conditions.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to the winners on the day –<\/p>\n

18 Hole \u2013 Anne Ward 38pts<\/p>\n

9 Hole \u2013 Di West 21 pts<\/p>\n

Tim Holmes joined us for the presentation and told us of his family\u2019s love and involvement in golf over the years, including his mother Megan at Melville Glades.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the Holmes family for supporting this special day over the years.<\/p>\n

4BBB Matchplay Round 2 Results<\/strong><\/p>\n

The top four seeded pairs had their first match this week and three of them came away with wins.<\/p>\n

Terri-anne Williams and Lea Wilson continued on their winning way with a strong 6&5 win over Shim Kingston and Pam Webber.<\/p>\n

Rosemary Burd and Linda Mackin def Anne Ward and Cheryl Collings 4&3<\/p>\n

Alison Hoy and Lynda Wake def Chris Orr and Pam Stevens 1up<\/p>\n

Leanne McVey and Bev Doherty def Bev Hayes and Dorothy Cropper 3&2<\/p>\n

Good luck to the semi-finalists in their quest to make the final on October 1.<\/p>\n
