{"id":18851,"date":"2025-03-06T16:32:22","date_gmt":"2025-03-06T08:32:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.melvilleglades.com\/cms\/?p=18851"},"modified":"2025-03-06T16:32:22","modified_gmt":"2025-03-06T08:32:22","slug":"course-etiquitte","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.melvilleglades.com\/cms\/2025\/03\/course-etiquitte\/","title":{"rendered":"Course Etiquitte"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Normal etiquette as understood by most golfers is that you limit your movement when in sight and sound of other players who are in the process of playing a shot.<\/p>\n<p>This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Getting items in and out of your golf bag<\/li>\n<li>Motorized golf buggies being remotely moved to another location after that player has played their shot<\/li>\n<li>Moving about the green when a player is preparing to putt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please be courteous to your playing partners.<\/p>\n<p>I would also like to remind everyone about <strong>pace of play<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We can all do our bit but I would like to remind you of these key points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Don\u2019t be late on the tee-box\n<ul>\n<li>You need to be on the tee-box 10 minutes before your designated tee time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t all walk together up the fairway chatting &#8211; go to your ball\n<ul>\n<li>There\u2019s plenty of time to chat later in the clubhouse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t leave buggies in from of a bunker while you putt.\n<ul>\n<li>Take buggies up beside the green and exit the green from behind the bunker as this allows the next group to play their shot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Normal etiquette as understood by most golfers is that you limit your movement when in sight and sound of other players who are in the process of playing a shot.
