Each year the Club selects a local Charity to receive any funds raised during the year. Charities that have been recent beneficiaries of Melville Glades Member Support include Harry Perkins Institute of Research for Prostate Cancer, Native Arc, Ronald McDonald House, Make a Difference Foundation and Macular Disease Foundation.
Most of the Charities selected by the Club have had a special connection to one or many of our members and we would like 2024 to be no different. We are asking members to submit for the Board’s consideration a charity that they believe should be selected as the Club’s 2024 charity.
Members are requested to include a brief reason as to why they believe their nominated charity should be the Club’s choice along with any relevant contact details of a person that the Club can reach out to for further information.
The major event for 2024 will be a Mixed Charity Day on Friday 6th September.
Members should submit their nominations to admin@melvilleglades.com by Friday 19th April.
