Dear Members ,
Over the past 7 years we’ve been lucky enough to have long term member Ron Culley assisting me by running/supervising our group of dedicated and hard working volunteers. Unfortunately, Ron has decided to call it time on his volunteering for now. On behalf of the course staff and the club I’d like to thank him for his many hours he has committed to helping the course out with the countless tasks he has supervised to improve the course.
With Ron’s departure we are looking for more volunteer assistance. Moving forward we would like to encourage any members willing to volunteer to come out once a month on a Monday to help the course staff between 7.30-10.30am. Monday is the perfect day to safely and efficiently work on the course with 9 holes being closed for maintenance until 11am. Volunteers will work along with course staff to help improve the course by completing various tasks – tidying bunkers, picking up debris, turfing, divoting, pitch mark repairing and topdressing.
