Winter looks like it’s arrived with a vengeance! The weather forecast is predicting up to 100mm of rainfall over the next 7 days.
Blue lines, ropes, and barriers will be used to direct traffic and protect high traffic and known wet areas throughout the winter. All members are asked to please follow the signage and blue lines, with cart users asked specifically to stay on the pathways provided and keep 20 metres away from greens at all times. All this will help protect our course during these wet months.
A single blue line means no motorised carts to cross, a double blue line means no traffic at all should cross.
When heavy amounts of rainfall occur causing waterlogging of turf, cart usage may be banned for a day or two until the turf dries out. Pro shop and course staff liaise daily between 5.30am and 6am to make the call on cart usage for the day.
