The first round of the Men’s Club Championship was played on Saturday with Nigel Williams claiming the early advantage with a round of 76 to lead from Eddie Ee (77), Jarryd Treacy (78), Rob Marhungane and Craig Fletcher (both 79) all close behind.
Ee leads the Jack Bennett Nett trophy with a 68 followed closely by Williams and Gary Dreyer both recording scores of nett 69. Graham Simpson fired a nett 70 to lead the Murray Day Long Marker trophy by 2-shots from Garry Wilson.
Round 2 will be played on Saturday 10th May.
