It is with sadness that we advise that Edric (Ed) Thompson passed away peacefully on June 3, aged 85.
Ed joined Melville Glades in 1988 before resigning at the end of 2024. Ed was a regular golfer on Mondays and Wednesdays in his latter years at the Club, and won the Old Boy’s Bill Mitchell Trophy in 2008.
Our sympathies and condolences go out to wife Merle, family and friends of Ed at this time.
The memorial service for Ed will take place on Tuesday 17th June at 10am at Bowra & O’Dea in Cannington (1307 Albany Highway).
