Dear Members,
As advised in the recent e-news, the club will be undertaking some upgrades to paths and limestone walls as part of our ongoing improvement program.
Works have already begun with the removal of the limestone wall next to the Members’ Electric Buggy Shed, along with a small section of the adjacent garden bed. Buggy access from the shed will still be allowed during this time, and staff and contractors will aim to work around periods of heavier cart access.
The limestone walls behind the 1st tee will also be removed, commencing this Thursday 21st August. Works on the new wall will also commence on Thursday. During this time, the existing path on the right-hand side and back of the 1st tee will be closed and unavailable for any foot or cart traffic until the works are complete. Members are asked to use the grass area on the left side to access the tee box, park carts, or place bags while teeing off.
These upgrades are being completed in preparation for the annual Renovation Week, during which new paths will be installed. We are looking forward to unveiling the new pathing system behind both the 1st and 9th holes.
We thank you for your patience and cooperation while these improvements are carried out.
