Booking in Groups
Since the move to six-day bookings, members have been able to coordinate with others before entering the timesheet. Wherever possible, please book as pairs or fours rather than as individuals. This helps fill the sheet efficiently and gives organised groups a greater chance of securing available slots.

Arriving at the Tee
Please arrive at the tee around 12 minutes before your scheduled start time. This ensures the group is ready to go, allows time to set up scoring arrangements in MiScore, and take care of any side bets or housekeeping before play begins. While sometimes this may be slightly less than 12 minutes, the key is to be on time and ready when called to the tee.

Group Captain Responsibilities
The lowest handicapper in each group is regarded as the “Group Captain”. This role comes with simple responsibilities:

  • Keep an eye on pace of play and encourage ready golf.
  • Send players to the next tee once they’ve holed out.
  • Park carts and buggies thoughtfully to avoid delays.
  • Ensure good course care by repairing divots, fixing pitch marks, and raking bunkers correctly.

Course Marshalling
Our marshals provide support where they can, but they can only do so much. These simple steps by every group are the most effective way to prevent congestion and keep the course flowing for all.

By following these simple practices, we can all help create a smoother flow of play and a more enjoyable experience for every member.

Kind Regards,
Harrison Peasnell
