Dear Members,

We’ve received an update from Golf Australia regarding the ongoing handicap recalculation and validation process within the new Golf Australia CONNECT system.

This process has been addressing inaccuracies in displayed handicaps and ensuring all data aligns with the World Handicap System. Golf Australia has confirmed that recalculations are progressing well and are on track for completion by Saturday, October 11.

Key points for members:
• Handicap records and scoring data are continuing to refresh automatically as recalculations finalise.
• You may notice changes to your displayed handicap or scoring history during this time.
• System performance will continue to improve over the coming days as data synchronisation completes.

Golf Australia acknowledges the delay and has apologised for any inconvenience caused to clubs and members during this transition.

Once the recalculation process is complete, Golf Australia will continue validating data to ensure the integrity and long-term accuracy of the national handicapping system under Golf Australia CONNECT.

We’ll provide any further updates as they’re received.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this process.

Kind Regards,
Harrison Peasnell
Golf Operation Manager
