Following a one-week adjournment the results from the special resolution considered at the Special General Meeting were counted tonight. A 75% majority in favour of the special resolution was required to approve the proposed changes to the constitution.
Special Resolution Result:
Total Votes counted: 193
For: 66.8%
Against: 33.2%
Outcome – The special resolution was defeated.
Thank you to those members who either cast an absentee vote, attended the adjourned meeting on the 23rd October or attended the reconvened meeting on the 30th October.
