NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING OF MELVILLE GLADES GOLF CLUB (Inc) TO BE HELD IN THE CLUBROOMS AT 7.00pm THURSDAY 23rd OCTOBER 2025

Dear Members,

Pursuant to Item 5.3 of the Constitution, a Special General Meeting has been called by direction of the Board, and this Meeting will be held in the Clubhouse at 7.00pm on Thursday 23rd October 2025.

A quorum of sixty-five members personally present and entitled to vote is required for the Meeting to commence.

Voting

The Club’s Constitution and By-Laws provide for the following:

  • No member may attend or vote at any meeting of the Club unless all monies then due and payable by him (or her) to the Club have been paid.
  • Only Ordinary, Ordinary Age classes and Ordinary 9 Holes or Life members may vote.
  • Proxy Voting is not allowed.
  • Absentee votes are allowed and will commence from 9am on Thursday 25th September through to 5pm Thursday 23rd
  • For the Special Resolution to be passed not less than 75% of votes must approve the motion.
  • No other business will be discussed at this meeting.
