At its November meeting the Board resolved to make changes to available social play times commencing 1 January 2026, as recommended by the Match committee.
These changes have been agreed to allow course staff the best opportunities to continue to present our course at the highest possible standard for daily competitions.
Monday – No change – social play will continue to be available before and after the men’s competition which commences at 10.45am.
Tuesday – No social play will be allowed before the competition field. PM social play* will be conducted from 12.45pm with a two-tee start. The change to a two-tee start increases the available social play before 3.30pm with additional social play available after 3.45pm.
Wednesday – No change – social play will be available following the competition field.
Thursday – AM no change – PM social play* will be conducted from 12.45pm with a two-tee start.
Friday – No social play will be allowed before the competition field. Social play will still be allowed within the AM competition field and following the competition field.
Saturday – No change – social play will be available following the competition field.
Sunday – No social play will be allowed before the competition field. Social play will still be allowed within the PM competition field and following the competition field.
*Please note that optional competitions will continue to run on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
Members intending to play socially within the competition fields on a Friday and Sunday are reminded that you must choose the ‘9 hole’ option when booking in, even when you plan to play 18 holes socially.
