City of Melville Cup – All Day Shotgun (7:30am & 12:45pm)
Presentation Evening from 5:30pm

The City of Melville Cup will be played as an all-day shotgun start, with fields commencing at 7:30am and 12:45pm.

Following the completion of play, members are invited to join us from 5:30pm on the front lawn behind the 1st tee for a relaxed, family friendly evening as we present the City of Melville Cup and reflect on the season just gone.

Importantly, this evening event is open to all members, not just those competing during the day. Whether you are playing in the Cup or simply wish to attend the presentation and social evening, we encourage everyone to come along.

After a highly successful Summer Cup for our Food and Beverage team, we are looking forward to delivering another strong event for the club.

Captain’s Address

A reflection on the year just gone, key highlights from the season, and a welcome to the year ahead.

Golf Operations and Food & Beverage Update

An overview of upcoming plans for the year, including new food and beverage initiatives, improvements and ideas in motion, along with key operational updates.

This is an important opportunity for members to hear directly about the direction of the club and what lies ahead.


What to Expect on the Night

All food and beverage service will be moved outdoors to create a vibrant lawn setting behind the 1st tee.

A temporary outdoor bar will be set up serving:

  • Cold packaged beers
  • Wines
  • Non-alcoholic options
  • A small cocktail selection

Tap beer will remain available from the main bar, however there will be no indoor seating or bar staffing inside for the evening. The focus will be on creating a great outdoor atmosphere.

Please note, the normal kitchen will not be operating outside of the roaming canapés included in your ticket. There will be no additional menu or à la carte service available on the night.

Members will receive a wristband on arrival to signify access to roaming canapés throughout the evening.

Dietary requirement options will be provided pending notification of dietaries. Members are asked to advise Administration of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

At just $25 per person, this represents exceptional value and we encourage strong member support.

  • Arrival drink – Aperol Spritz or packaged beer
  • Roaming canapés
  • Entry into the evening raffles

Canapé Menu

  • Prawn & pork gyoza with black vinegar and ginger sauce
  • Chicken satay skewers
  • Melon and prosciutto crostini
  • Truffle mushroom arancini with garlic aioli
  • Beef croquette with napolitana sauce
  • Mini beef wellingtons

Kids Plates Available

Small kids plates will be available for purchase on the night:

  • Chips, fried fish and tomato sauce
  • Chips, chicken nuggets and tomato sauce

Raffles

Raffle prizes will include:

  • Pro Shop gift cards
  • Magnum of wine (TBC)
  • Additional prizes to be announced
