The following questions have been received from Nigel Williams (5327), who requested they be answered before the Members vote on the Special Resolution for a new Governance model. Noting that absentee voting has already commenced, the questions and responses are provided below for the information of Members.

  1.  2026 Budget Comparison: What is the specific budgeted figure for “Administration Wages and related costs” in the 2026 Annual Budget Summary?

Response: The budgeted figure for administration wages and related costs in the 2026 budget is $503,147. This is less than the actual total expenditure for the same item in 2025. In 2025 the club incurred some additional costs due to the need to engage a contract accountant and, the subsequent handover between our previous long-term accountant and our current accountant. This will not recur in 2026 thus ensuring that our 2026 budget figure is lower than our 2025 actuals.

  1. New GM Remuneration: Does the 2026 Budget account for the recruitment and remuneration of the newly appointed General Manager, and does this figure represent an increase over the previous GM’s total cost to the Club?

Response: Yes, the 2026 budget accounts for the recruitment and remuneration of the new General Manager. There is a relative increase in remuneration for the new GM. This increase solely arises from employment market expectations and industry standards for this position. As stated in (1) above, this does not result in an overall cost increase in administration wages and related costs compared to 2025.

  1. Governance Overhead: If the 2026 budgeted figure exceeds the $551,918 cited for 2025, how does the Board justify the claim that there is “no additional cost associated with implementing the proposed new governance model”?

Response: The 2026 budgeted figure does not exceed the actual 2025 costs. There is no additional cost associated with implementing the proposed new Governance model.
