Entries are now open for this year’s Men’s Match Play Championship, one of MGGC’s most prestigious annual events.
The qualifying round will be held on Saturday 20 September, as part of the Monthly Medal. From this single stroke round, the top 8 Gross and top 8 Nett players will qualify for the Match Play Championship (16 players total). Players may only qualify in one division, with Gross taking priority if eligible for both.
Match Play rounds will be played over several weeks with flexible scheduling:
- Quarter Finals: 23 Sept – 5 Oct
- Semi Finals: 6 Oct – 15 Oct
- Finals: Saturday 18 October (PM)
The $10 entry fee for the Monthly Medal covers the full championship, including all match play rounds and the finals. There is no additional fee to participate if you qualify.
