Dear Members,
I am happy to advise that following the call for expressions of interest, Leanne McVey has been appointed to fill the vacant Director of Ladies role. Leanne not only brings her strong golfing record to the Board but she has also been Lady Captain, and spent a total of 8 years on both ladies and course committees as well 2 years on the match committee.
The Board looks forward to Leanne’s contributions in progressing the Club towards its strategic objectives.
Leanne will fill the role until it is next up for election at the 2027 AGM.

Please note that to be eligible for a role on the Board a member must have been an Ordinary (including age groups), Ordinary 9-Hole or Life member of the Club for at least two consecutive years and be financial.
Interested members for the Director of Finance role should submit a succinct written expression of interest that outlines their experience and suitability for the role. The Board will subsequently review submissions and may conduct interviews prior to making any appointments. Written submissions may be sent to gm@melvilleglades.com
